August 31, 2022 - The 2021-2022 Republican majority passed the most fiscally responsible budget ever, and delivered many tax cuts for NH taxpayers.  Diane is the Prime Sponsor of HB1667 which ensures all NH veterans receive the property tax credits they have earned!

August 21, 2022 - The southern half of Greenville, Mason, and Brookline are now in Extreme Drought (D3).  The northern poritions of these towns are in Severe Drought (D2).  Please conserve water so your wells don't run dry.  See Current NH Drought Map from NOAA/NIDIS.

August 4-5, 2022 - A heat advisory for eastern Hillsborough County is in effect through 8 p.m. on August 5.  Here is info on cooling centers and pools in our area.

UNH educational opportunities using their GI benefits to earn a Master's degree in one of 130+ different programs (info).

July 26, 2022 - Diane prime sponsored HB 1667, which was signed by Governor Sununu on May 27, and took effect today (July 26, 2022).  This new law properly enables actively serving military members with 4+ years service to qualify for the Veterans' Tax Credits for their property taxes.  The law also enables duty by National Guardsmen (Title 32) and Coast Guardsmen (Title 14), which was previously excluded, to now count in qualifying for the Veterans' Tax Credits.  Finally, all veterans under NH law now qualify for the Veterans' Tax Credits.

June 17, 2022 - Governor Sununu signed HB 1221, “Property Tax Relief Act of 2022”, which provides all towns and school districts with FY23 property tax relief equal to 7.5% of NH Retirement System taxpayer contributions for teachers, police officers, and firefighters.  We must now ensure that town selectboards and school boards pass along these funds directly to taxpayers to reduce property taxes as intended by the legislature, and not spend these funds as a windfall!
